Spiaggia del Lazzaretto est une charmante plage située à quelques minutes du centre historique d'Alghero, sur la côte nord-ouest de la Sardaigne. Nommée d'après l'ancien bâtiment de quarantaine (lazzaretto) qui se trouvait autrefois à proximité, la plage se compose de plusieurs petites criques de sable divisées par des affleurements rocheux plats. L'eau est limpide avec une belle teinte bleu-vert, et les zones rocheuses créent des piscines naturelles idéales pour les enfants et les plongeurs. L'orientation abritée offre des conditions calmes la plupart des jours, tandis que la proximité d'Alghero en fait une plage facile à visiter sans voiture. La plage offre un bon équilibre entre services et beauté naturelle. Les vues sur l'eau jusqu'au promontoire de Capo Caccia ajoutent une touche dramatique au décor. À proximité, les remparts d'Alghero offrent un intérêt historique et d'excellentes options de restauration après une journée à la plage.

Lazzaretto made for a lovely afternoon. The beach isn’t as big as others on the West of Sardegna but it’s crystal clear as most beaches. Walking the whole way to the right, one will find quieter spots as the entry is full of sunbeds.

The beach is small but what is amazing is definitely the view. You have plenty of ways to explore the beach and the surroundings and the water is clear and blue. I really enjoyed this place.

Fantastic beach! The beach is situated in a nice protected cove from the elements. The day we went, there was a strong wind from the north, but there was hardly any wind at this beach. The beach was shallow waters and is great for kids. I’ve been to 4 beaches in the Alghero area and this one is one of the best. There’s also a few restaurants where you can probably get a nice drink and bite to eat.
